I am the founder of the International Society for Computational Biology (ISCB) Student Council (SC), and have served as SC Chair for two years and the Student Council ISCB Board of Directors Representative for two additional years. I have also been the SC Symposium Chair for two consecutive years and part of the organising committee of Visual Reflections on Science in ISMB Toronto (2008). Currently I am part of the Steering Committee for ISCB-Africa ASBCB Joint Conference on Bioinformatics, a contributor to the Computational Biology Wikiproject and Director for ITICO.org, a non-profit bioinformatics web services company.
